Olivia Rubin brought her signature pastels to a limited edition Riser. She was able to breathe life into this new silhouette.
The elevated details of mint, yellow and purple are inspired by the sorbet-colored houses that line the streets of Notting Hill.
Mother Nature is near and dear to both of our hearts. The Riser was an easy choice for Rubin to work with because of its mixed material upper made with sustainable materials like merino wool, organic canvas, and eucalyptus fiber.
Zipeng brought his bold vision to the Tree Flyer 2 in the form of bright shapes, a terrazzo pattern and his signature smiley. Known for translating his humor and optimism into design, his work has been celebrated all over the world.
He paid homage to the richness and boldness that characterizes the queer community, infusing this collaboration with hues that radiate joy, inclusivity, and a sense of fearless individuality. We chose to launch this limited edition outside of pride month, because the LGBTIQA+ community should always be part of the conversation.
Natural indigo is a miracle dye nurtured by the rich nature of Tokushima, and has colored Japan for centuries. The deep indigo color created by Watanabe's craftsmanship begins with the soil. It offers a comfortable harmony with the highest quality merino wool used in the Wool Runner. While small and limited, this project was potent, rich with culture and considered material/color application.
Together with Jeff Staple, founder of the iconic STAPLE brand, we released two new colorways of the limited edition Staple Dasher. This time, with our updated end-to-end carbon footprint right where you can see it. Working with Jeff and team was an attempt to bring carbon consideration into the vocabulary of streetwear.
Allbirds partnered with New York-based fashion designer Rosie Assoulin, known for her exuberant use of color and whimsical proportions, to create a limited edition collection of Sugar Sliders that capture the essence of summer in the city. The color and graphics were inspired by the nostalgia of Rosie’s childhood in Brooklyn. As a child Rosie was obsessed with spumoni ice cream.
